New Mexico’s public and charter school districts are essential to the success of the NM Student Connect program. In this Toolkit, you will find links to information, assets, templates, and ideas that you can use to share details about how households can sign up for the EBB Program.

Emergency Connectivity Fund

The New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) has contracted CTC Technology & Energy (CTC) to facilitate meeting its duty provide public education to at- risk, disadvantaged, and otherwise marginalized student populations. Read the full guide for more information.

Robocall and SMS Messages

Superintendents can use the script to make robocalls to their students’ households in a voice that families are familiar with. The script could also be modified for use by principals and other key, trusted leaders in your community.

Also included are some suggestions for SMS messages that can be sent to households in your district. Each message is under 140 characters.

EBB Flyer

Use this flyer to share basic details about the EBB Program with your students’ households. It describes eligibility and the steps eligible households will need to take in order to enroll in the program. It can be shared in digital format or printed and distributed.
